State-of-the-Art Recycling Facility Now Open
A new, cutting-edge company has opened its headquarters in the Las Vegas valley. U.S. Micro has opened a 130,000 square-foot building at Buffalo Road and the southern Beltway.
U.S. Micro takes components from computers and other information technologies then turns them into nonvolatile materials. The materials are then repurposed for construction projects and consumer products such as bike racks.
The headquarters includes executive and administrative offices along with the recycling facility. The new business is bringing in as many as 100 new jobs to southern Nevada. U.S. Micro invested $15 million in to the project. The building was developed by Panattoni Development Company which has developed and managed millions of square feet of industrial and office space over the last five years.
