One of Las Vegas’ most popular shopping areas continues to expand, adding restaurants, a locally owned shoe store and a giant arcade.

Town Square plans to bring in GameWorks Las Vegas, McFadden’s Restaurant & Saloon, pediped footwear and Panda Express.

GameWorks will launch a new prototype entertainment center, Town Square officials said, which will feature lounge-like bowling, a laser tag arena and a tournament-ready, 100-seat LAN gaming center for online console and PC gaming.

GameWorks will feature 125 video games and a 225-seat restaurant set up for sports viewing with a 105-inch HDTV and video wall. It will be located near the movie theaters.

McFadden’s will open a 12,000-square-foot location this summer above Yard House.

Shortly before McFadden’s debuts, pediped footwear,  a children’s shoe company based in Henderson, will open its first store located in a shopping center Friday.

The store will carry 140 different styles of shoes for boys and girls, ranging in ages from newborn to 8 years old.  Brian James Footwear, the new line of women’s shoes launched by pediped founder Angela Edgeworth this past spring, will also make its debut at the pediped store. Pediped will be located between Sunglass Hut and Clarks and across from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

Panda Express is slated to open a location at Town Square this summer, adjacent to Meatball Spot at the entrance to the movies.
