Photo Gallery | Police Search for Suspect in Series of Armed Robberies

Metro Police are looking for a suspect in a number of armed robberies in the southwest part of Las Vegas.

All five robberies happened between 9 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. The first happened May 27 in the area of Flamingo and Cimarron Roads. The last happened June 7 in the area of Fort Apache Road and Sahara Avenue.

In all the robberies, the suspect entered the business, pointed a gun at an employee and demanded money. Once he had the money, he forced the employee to lie on the ground and then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-20s. He is 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 with a thin build. He usually wears a ski mask, dark sweater or hoodie and white gloves.
