Sewer Project Forces Lane Closures | Transportation
Title (Max 100 Charaters)
A new sewer project started Tuesday that will disrupt traffic near Valley View Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue.
Crews from the Clark County Water Reclamation District will be replacing and relining sewer lines. They will also be installing temporary bypass pumps and rehabilitating manholes.
Lane restrictions will be in place on the two inside lanes of westbound and eastbound Tropicana. The two inside lanes of northbound and southbound Valley View will also be restricted. Traffic signals will be timed to allow left turns through the intersection. However, left turns in to and out of driveways may be restricted.
The work is from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Friday through at least April 30. All the lanes for all the roads will be open when crews are not working.
