Wal-Mart Announces Plans for New Southwest Store
The world's largest retailer has plans to bring a new supercenter to the southwest part of the Las Vegas valley.
Wal-Mart announced plans to build a 150,000 square-foot store at Blue Diamond Road and Rainbow Boulevard.
The company says the new store will create 300 new jobs. There is no word yet on when the construction will start.
Wal-Mart has 10 supercenters around southern Nevada, including one a few miles away at Rainbow Boulevard and the southern beltway in the Arroyo Crossing shopping center.
