Coroner IDs Woman Found Dead in Apartment Fire
LAS VEGAS -- The woman who was found dead in an apartment fire Saturday has been identified as Deborah Whitt, 61, of Las Vegas.
The two-alarm fire broke out about 7 p.m. in a home on Tropicana Avenue near Jones Boulevard. Neighbors said the woman was disabled.
Two apartments were damaged in the fire. The damage is estimated at $100,000.
The Clark County Coroner's Office, which released the woman's name, said her cause of death was not yet known.
