LAS VEGAS -- If you like food and fun the 2nd Annual Asian Food Festival was the place to be this weekend with exotic performances, 25 Asian food vendors, and gourmet food trucks.

Organizers say the event is the largest Asian Community event in Las Vegas with an estimated 30,000 people attending at the Silverton.

"Watch the shows, and my kids want to see what's available on the stands," said Mike Eslava while enjoying the festival with his family.

Eslava said there was something for everyone, live entertainment, games, carnival rides, and 50 multicultural retail stores and exhibitors. They even had a mixed martial artist training for an upcoming match.

"We're just trying to pop some interest, try to meet everybody, and show them what we do for a living," said professional fighter Angelo Antuna. "It's a good time out here, a lot of families.

Organizers say it's a way to bring cultures together.

"It's always a good thing when everybody can come together from all races, all nationalities, and all backgrounds," said Ranier Galgana Managing Partner at Red Dragon.  "Because that's really what this place is, it's a melting pot to share everything that is great out there."
