Penn & Teller Extend Stay at Rio for Six More Years

The magic duo of Penn & Teller announced Monday they extended their stay at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino through 2018.

The pair had their first show in Las Vegas in 1993. They started headlining at the Rio in 2001.

“When we first moved to Vegas, our hoity-toity New York art and theater friends all screamed in horror. Now they are all regular Vegas visitors and headliners. We've loved every minute of our 20 years in Vegas and are wicked excited we get to spend another six at the Rio in the best theater in town. I hate to hurt our next negotiations with Caesars Entertainment, but we have no plans to leave.  We intend to die in office,” Penn Jillette said.

Penn & Teller has performed on several TV shows, including their own network specials, "Late Nigh with David Letterman"  and the "Today" show.

They don't just entertain crowds of tourists and locals. They are also supporters of Las Vegas charities like Aid for AIDS of Nevada and Opportunity Village.
