Two Las Vegas Students Selected for U.S. Senate Program

Two students from Las Vegas have been selected to be part of the United States Senate Youth Program.

Natasha Greene of Las Vegas High School and Cindy Thai of Durango High School will be part of the 104 students delegates at the 51st annual program that will be held March 9 through 16 in Washington, D.C.

The program was created in 1962 and is funded by The Hearst Foundations. Every year it brings together some of the top students from around the country for a week-long study of the federal government.

Both Greene and Thai are outstanding students at their schools and have held several leadership roles.
